SRCC, "Safe-R-Container Compliance" Tag or Repair Cover Disk. One of the best ways is to make your entry point into the container invisible is to do it under the dial ring or key pad. When this is not possible the use of metal pins, screws, welds, bondo, epoxy putty, paint and texture are often used. This can be a time consuming and laborious process with less than satisfactory results.  I did not come up with the idea of covering a drill point with a tag but I did invent Safe-R-Container Compliance. I spent a long time thinking of what to put on a Repair Cover Tag that is relevant and not obvious that a repair was made under the disk. There is only 1 tag specifically sold to cover a repair that I could find and I didnt like it. They are plastic! My Repair Disks are made from Nickel plated A3 High-Carbon Alloy Tool Steel and deeply laser etched with a Fiber Laser. The disks have a 3M double backed adhesive ready to peal and stick on to your oil free cleaned surface.
